Leftovers guide

Four edible items in one inventory slot is the whole idea of Leftovers, the lunch box you occasionally find in The Archives during a pizza party sector. The gallery calls it LEFTOVERS, while the wiki page is titled Lunch Box. It behaves much like the Briefcase.

How it works

Hold the box and try to pick up a food item to put it inside; use the box like any other activatable item to take one out. It accepts items that heal you, but not Bandages, Water Cups or Green Herbs. Since the box takes a slot itself, you save up to three slots, and a full box allows a quick burst of healing.

Should you rift it

You can place it in the Rift, giving four healing items in one rift, and a full Leftovers fits into both Guiding Light's and Curious Light's rifts, so up to eight items can travel together. The wiki advises against it for ordinary food, since the Bandage Pack is easier to get and arguably better; it only makes sense for rare consumables such as the Starlight Jug, the Starlight Bottle or the Donut.

Limits

It is rare and mostly shows up in pizza party sectors, and the only foods outside The Archives are Smoothies in The Hotel and Louie's trades in The Mines, so it is nearly useless elsewhere.
