Birthday Squid guide
Birthday Squid belonged to the Anniversary 2025 event and is not obtainable now. The wiki shows a squid dressed for the party, holding a balloon that bursts into confetti when poked. Its Limited rarity, Any weather and lack of a listed bait suggest it came from the event itself rather than from a normal fishing setup.
The value is decent for an event fish: C$5,500 on average, 163rd of 742 documented fish, with 2,100 base XP. That is well inside the top quarter by sale price, yet far below the headline catch of the same event.
Zone-mates in Anniversary 2025 are Baby's First Balloon, Birthday Dumbo Octopus, Birthday Goldfish, Birthday Megalodon, Birthday Cake and Birthday Gift. Birthday Megalodon and Birthday Cake are the ones that outrank it. If you are reading this to decide whether a Birthday Squid in someone's inventory is worth holding: it sells for a respectable amount, but it is a keepsake of a closed event, so keeping it is a collector's choice, not a financial one.
