Baby's First Balloon guide
Baby's First Balloon was a Limited catch from the Anniversary 2025 event, and it is now tagged Unobtainable. The in-game note calls it a giant balloon shaped like the number 1, the first of many birthdays.
It carried no recorded weight, but the sale price is clear: an average of C$12,500, ranking 108th of the 742 documented fish. That puts it in the top fifth of the market, which is generous for an event decoration. It also gave 8,100 base XP, a bigger reward than many fish that need a full night's work.
It was one of seven Limited items in the same event zone. Birthday Squid, Birthday Dumbo Octopus, Birthday Goldfish, Birthday Megalodon, Birthday Cake and Birthday Gift share its rarity, so the event offered plenty of alternatives for anyone filling a collection.
No rod is listed for the zone, and the event itself is over.
Verdict: a collector's curiosity, not a target. If you hold one, it is worth more than a typical catch and doubles as a reminder of the first anniversary; if you do not, there is no way to chase it today.
