Blight Pufferfish guide

Blight Pufferfish asks for a two-part bait, Crab Cages plus Weird Algae, and that is the most distinctive thing about it. The wiki lists no weather, season or time limits, so the setup is the only hurdle. It is an Uncommon fish from Toxic Grove.

It is small: 0.8 kg at the low end, 1 kg on average, up to 2.5 kg at most. But the rate of C$183.333 per kg pushes the average sale to C$462, which ranks 403rd of 742 documented fish. The maximum weight ranks 587th of 663. The base XP is 110. So the fish is light, yet it pays better than its weight suggests.

Lantern Parasite is the other Uncommon in Toxic Grove, so you may see the two trading places on the line. Decayed Rod and Plaguereaver are on sale in the same zone.

Verdict: a worthwhile side target when you are already collecting the bait materials. C$462 is not a fortune, but it comfortably beats Common fish, and with no weather or season restrictions you can try for it on any visit. Prepare the bait first, since that is where the work is.
