Sea Raven guide

If you want a cheap Uncommon with a clear recipe, Sea Raven is easy to plan around. It lives in Crimson Cavern and bites on Worm, but only during the day, in Rain and in Winter, so three conditions have to line up at once. The wiki pictures it as a crimson fish with wing-like fins gliding through rainy cavern water, which matches the weather requirement.

An average Sea Raven weighs 4.5 kg at C$50 per kg, so it sells for about C$500. That ranks 390 of 742 documented fish by average value, right in the middle of the pack, and it gives 110 base XP. Nothing here will change your finances, but it is a decent filler catch while you wait for the weather.

Crimson Cavern also sells four rods: Evil Pitchfork, Scarlet Spincaster Rod, Ruinous Oath and Wicked Fang Rod. If you are already in the zone shopping for one, you can pick up a Sea Raven on the side. Check the forecast first, because without Rain in Winter there is no point casting for this one.
