Eonshell guide
Eonshell is a heavyweight Limited fish from New Year's Pool, and it is obtainable now. You need Truffle Worm bait, Night, Clear weather and Winter, and the conditions are strict enough that you should check them before you travel.
The numbers justify the effort. It weighs 20,000 to 63,000 kg, averaging 25,000 kg, which ranks 58th of 663 by maximum weight. At C$0.675 per kg it averages C$16,883.3 per sale, 96th of 742 documented fish by value, and gives 20,260 base XP.
That puts it in the top 15 percent of documented fish by value, far above the party fish that share the zone: Confetti Carp, Party Popperfish, Party Pufferfish, Sparkler Sardine and Sparkling Corkfin.
Since it is Limited, treat it as time-sensitive. If you have Truffle Worm and a winter night with clear skies, go for it. Selling one gives enough C$ for a meaningful upgrade, while the 20,260 XP can move your level noticeably. Do not leave it for later and hope the event returns.
