Hollowfin guide
Hollowfin is a Rare fish worth knowing if you fish Cursed Isle after dark. It takes Squid bait, Night hours, Clear weather and Winter, so it is a catch you plan for. It weighs between 40 kg and 201.6 kg, averaging 68 kg, and the max ranks 247th of 663.
The real draw is XP. A single Hollowfin gives 600 base XP, a lot for a Rare. Money is decent too: at C$7.292 per kg, an average catch is worth C$495.8, which ranks 400th of 742 documented fish, close to the middle of the pack.
Tropical Bait Crate is the only other Rare entry listed for Cursed Isle, which keeps your night sessions focused on a small set of targets. The one rod sold on the isle is the Great Dreamer Rod. In practice, Hollowfin is a good pick for players who want levelling and a reasonable sale at the same time, provided you can wait for a clear Winter night and have Squid in the bag.
