Blisterfish guide

Blisterfish is a Common catch in Cursed Isle with a gloomy list of conditions: Worm bait, Night, Rain and Autumn. The wiki describes a relentless survivor that thrives where others falter. It averages 1.4 kg, ranging from 0.8 kg to 4.2 kg, and its maximum is 552nd of 663 fish with a recorded maximum, among the lighter catches of the catalogue.

On price it is just as low. An average sale of C$44.2 ranks 665th of 742 documented fish, and base XP is 40. For this rarity that is ordinary, and the pairing of a rainy autumn night with Worm bait is a lot of setup for the result.

Great Dreamer Rod is the rod sold in the zone. If you already own it and are fishing Cursed Isle, Blisterfish will occasionally appear, but it is no reason to wait for the weather.

My advice: do not plan a session around it. If the conditions happen to match, take the catch and sell it, or keep it for the journal. Anyone looking for more value per cast on Cursed Isle should check the higher-rarity fish of the zone before settling for a Common.
