Kelpie guide
Kelpie is a Limited fish from Frightful Pools that you cannot catch anymore, flagged Limited and Unobtainable. It used to bite in Rainy weather during Autumn, using Gummy Fish. The game describes it as a mythical water horse with a spooky aura, lurking in the pools.
Its value is the reason to read this entry. An average Kelpie sold for C$12,500 and awarded 6,500 base XP, which ranks it 108th of the 742 documented fish by average value. That is within the top fifth of the documented fish, a strong figure for an event catch and far above anything in the Icebeard Shark range.
Others of the same rarity in that zone were Phantom Jellyfish, Spider Salmon, Vampire Perch and Werewolf Walleye. Among them Kelpie was the headline fish, the one players would have wanted most. If you see one in someone's inventory, it is a real piece of the Autumn event, not a common sale item. There is no weight data on record, so its worth is simply the C$12,500 average and the XP. Since no live source exists, treat it as history: valuable on paper, impossible to farm today.
