Mossjaw Tail guide

Mossjaw Tail was a Limited catch from Roslit Bay, and it is gone: the wiki flags it as both Limited and Unobtainable, so it cannot be fished today. What remains is its profile as a heavy, valuable piece.

It averaged 180 kg with a maximum of 504 kg, which ranks 188th of 663 fish by maximum weight. At C$22.92 per kg an average specimen was worth C$4,125, 198th among the 742 documented fish. The description calls it a tailbone recovered from the bay's fresh waters, so it reads more like a salvage find than a living animal.

When it was available it competed in Roslit Bay with other Limited fish: Ashcloud Archerfish, Burnt Betta, Lovestorm Eel, Shark Fang and Spine Blade. The bay also sells Blazebringer Rod, Magma Rod, Fortune Rod, Rapid Rod and Steady Rod, so anyone fishing there had a broad choice of gear.

Verdict: if you still hold one, treat it as a mid-tier keepsake. Its worth sits near the 200th rank, which is high enough that selling is fine but not so high that it is a loss to keep it as a collectible. If you never had one, nothing in this entry gives you a way to get it now.
