Veilborn Parasite guide

Veilborn Parasite is gone: it was a Limited fish from Cults Curse and is marked as unobtainable now. What remains is a strong profile that is worth knowing about if the event ever returns.

It accepted any bait, any time of day, any weather and any season, which made it unusually easy to catch while it was available. It weighed 8 kg to 50 kg, averaging 15 kg, and at C$300 per kg an average catch sold for C$4,500. That ranks 190th of 742 documented fish by value. Base XP was 2,500. By maximum weight it ranks 325th of 663, so the value came from the rate, not from mass.

It shared the Limited tier in its zone with Abyssal Maw, Bloodscript Eel, Eldritch Spineback, Hollow Gazer, Profane Ray and The Whispering One, a sizable cast of event fish.

The game describes it as a parasite from an unknown origin that clings with tendrils.

Verdict: you cannot get it today, so there is nothing to farm. Treat the entry as a record of how generous Cults Curse was, with a top-quarter payout and almost no conditions attached.
