Mossy Turkey

Mossy Turkey is a Limited catch from the Fischgiving 2025 event area, and unlike many Limited fish it is still marked obtainable. It uses Insect bait, the Autumn season and has no time-of-day restriction (the wiki lists Any), so the main barrier is being at the event while it runs.

An average Mossy Turkey is worth C$20,250, 78th of the 742 documented fish, with base XP of 11,260. The description presents it as a green, moss-covered gobbler that blends into forested shallows, a themed take on a Thanksgiving-style bird.

It is not alone: the rest of the event pool includes Bountiful Bait Crate, Coral Turkey, Frosty Turkey, Ghost Turkey, Lost Turkey and Magma Turkey. If you are collecting the full set, expect to chase several near-identical turkeys with the same bait.

The event zone also sells Cornucopia Rod, which is the obvious rod to pair with it according to what is sold on site.

Verdict: if the event is running, this is an easy, high-value pickup for the cost of Insect bait, since its worth lands in the top ten percent of all fish. Sell duplicates, keep one for the collection, and do not hold back waiting for a better price once the event window closes.
