Murky Turkey

Murky Turkey comes from the Fischgiving 2025 event and, as of this entry, is flagged obtainable despite its Limited rarity. You hook it with Insect bait during Autumn, with no time-of-day limit. The wiki's flavor text describes a bog-dweller coated in algae with glowing mushrooms on its back, in the spirit of a themed holiday roast.

Its average value is C$20,250, which ranks 78th of 742 documented fish, and it gives 11,260 base XP. Several turkeys in the event pool pay the same, so choose by which one you are missing for the collection rather than by profit.

The rest of the event pool is the same list: Bountiful Bait Crate, Coral Turkey, Frosty Turkey, Ghost Turkey, Lost Turkey and Magma Turkey. Cornucopia Rod is the rod sold at the event, so you can pick up gear and fish without leaving the zone.

Verdict: as long as the event stays open, grab a few. Murky Turkey is cheap to prepare for and its worth sits in the top ten percent of all documented fish. Because several turkeys pay alike, selling extras is the sensible move and holding stock gains you nothing once the window shuts. If you are short on time, prioritize the first catch of each variety, then switch to whatever pays best.
