Onirifalx

Onirifalx is a quest reward: you earn it by finishing Nick's quest line, and it lives in The Depths. Nothing is bought with C$ here, and the rod is flagged as level-gated, so expect to be well along before it becomes available.

The payoff is speed. Its Lure Speed of 777 ranks 4th of 184 obtainable rods, which means the bite timer is about as short as it gets. Luck of 277 sits 20th of 184, solidly in the upper tier, while Control of 0.17 lands at 48 of 185, decent but not its selling point. It also carries a passive and a mastery, a Disturbance of +4, and a hunt focus on Absolute Darkness.

The only other rod sold in the same zone is Rod Of The Depths, so Onirifalx is the one to aim for if you are working that area. Choose it when you want fast bites with high Luck and are fine with average handling. If your catches keep slipping away during the reel minigame, the middling Control is the number to watch.
