What it offered was modest. Luck of 75, Lure Speed of 70 and Resilience of 10 are all small numbers, Control of -0.05 means slightly looser handling than a neutral rod, and the weight limit was 1,500 kg. The description calls it a lightweight paper fan that slices through the water with swift, cutting blows.

Compared with rods you can still get, it does not look like a loss. Brick Rod matches its Luck of 75 for C$13,337, Friendly Rod has 105 Luck for C$0, and Cinder Block Rod reaches 300 Luck for C$50,000. All three are cheaper than the C$70,000 this one cost.

So the value here is collector interest, not performance. If you still see one in someone's inventory, it is an event memento. If you are looking for a rod to actually fish with, start with Friendly Rod or Brick Rod instead.
