Amethyst Runebear guide
Amethyst Runebear is a Secret that earns less than the typical Cosmic. Its $1.95M/s is 48th of 51 Secrets, where the median is $250M/s, and below the Cosmic median of $7.5M/s. Toxic Hedgehog, an Event pet ($1.75M/s), is below it and Ostrich ($2.145M/s) above it.
The wiki gives it an egg, Amethyst Runebear Egg, and leaves the source blank, along with reward, grow time and weight. Three Secrets of this kind cluster at the bottom of the table: Amethyst Runebear, Ostrich and Midnight Mimic, all between $1.95M/s and $2.35M/s and all with unconfirmed origins.
Mutations are the way it can move: Silver about $2.34M/s, Golden $4.88M/s and Rainbow $6.83M/s. Even the Rainbow value stays under the Cosmic median. So this is a pet whose rarity label is higher than its value, and a player choosing between it and a $3M/s Cosmic like Scarecrow would be better off with the Cosmic.
