Toxic Hedgehog guide
No Secret pet earns more than Toxic Hedgehog. At $1.75B/s it is 1st of 35 in its rarity, and nearly double the next-best Secret, Skeletal Giant Sloth at $900M/s.
A Secret that outranks Divines
Its income is high enough to beat pets two rarities above it on paper:
- Unicorn, Divine, Cosmic biome: $1B/s
- Archdemon Dragon, Divine, event: $1.25B/s
- Toxic Hedgehog, Secret, event: $1.75B/s
- Kitsune, Divine, Cherry Blossom biome: $1.8B/s
It also earns exactly as much as Luminous Electric Eel, one of the 1% Luminous rerolls. In the full table 20 of 198 pets earn more, and it is 3rd of the 17 event pets.
What the wiki leaves out
The wiki files Toxic Hedgehog as an event pet and lists a base weight of 8,000 kg, but nothing else: no event name, no date, no grow time, no reward, no method. The "Toxic" in its name might suggest Dr. Scramble's Biohazard theme (the Biohazard Egg also holds a Toxic Rat), yet the wiki does not connect them, so that remains a guess rather than a fact.
The only documented rule that applies is the general one for limited eggs: event eggs do not spawn in biome nests and come from the Store or from special events such as Admin Abuse.
Estimates
With the wiki's documented formula:
- Golden: about $4.38B/s
- Rainbow: about $6.12B/s
- 10× base weight: about $7.24B/s
- 100× base weight: about $29.9B/s
- 200× base weight: about $41.5B/s
- Rainbow at 100× weight: about $105B/s
A Rainbow copy would sit just under Luminous Cthulhu's base income of $6.5B/s, which gives a sense of how far a mutation can carry a top Secret.
