The guardian sleeps next to the nest; the faster you are, the easier it is to outrun it. Bigger eggs are worth more but slow you down. Eggs & guardians

The Jungle's Secret-rarity jackpot
The King Snake earns $3.5M/s, which is 125 times the Tiger beneath it in the Jungle and about 970 times the Desert's ordinary Snake. It is a Secret-rarity pet, ranked 33rd of 35 in that tier and 103rd of 198 overall, and it is the most valuable pet you can steal with only 40K Speed.
A 90-minute egg
- Grow time: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Reward: +18k Speed and $350m
- Base weight: 10,000 kg
Ninety minutes is eighteen of the 5-minute nest resets the wiki describes. In practice that means the King Snake egg holds one pen slot for an entire play session, while your other slots keep cycling Crocodile, Orangutini and Spider eggs.
The +18k Speed is the same reward the Desert's Royal Sphinx gives. Against the 170K that Snow requires, it covers just over a tenth, so the King Snake is an income play, not a Speed one.
Compared with other big eggs
- Royal Sphinx (Desert, Cosmic): $280K/s, 30-minute egg
- King Snake (Jungle, Secret): $3.5M/s, 90-minute egg
- Yeti (Snow, Secret): $5M/s, 1:45 egg
Three times the Sphinx's wait buys you 12.5 times the income.
The King Snake does not appear in any of the Rift sacrifice tiers the wiki lists, so there is no Rift reason to give one away.
Estimated ceiling
With a 10-tonne base, the formula the wiki documents gives:
- Golden: about $8.75M/s
- Rainbow: about $12.2M/s
- 10 times base weight: about $14.5M/s
- 100 times base weight: about $59.9M/s
- Rainbow at 100 times base weight: about $210M/s
