Carnival

The Carnival is an Event-type structure, and it plays very differently from the combat-heavy facilities elsewhere in 99 Nights. Instead of a garrison to fight, it presents carnival games, the ring toss, hoop shot, and shooting gallery you can see in its booths, that you play to earn rewards. It is a change of pace built around skill and tickets rather than survival pressure.

The draw is the prize pool. The Carnival hands out the Air Rifle, a ranged weapon that is genuinely useful for thinning out enemies and cultists from a distance, alongside themed novelties like the Carnival Ring and the Carnival Basketball. The Air Rifle alone makes a visit worthwhile, since reliable ranged options are valuable across the rest of your run.

Risk here is low compared to most destinations, with no listed inhabitants to overcome, so the main cost is opportunity: time spent playing carnival games is time away from your campfire and core objectives. Treat it as a rewarding side stop, secure the Air Rifle if you can, and do not let the festivities pull you too far from base when night approaches.
