Cultist Laboratory — In-Depth Analysis

The Cultist Laboratory is a Dangerous Facility built around concentrated melee pressure. Its garrison is purely human — four Melee Cultists backed by two Crossbow Cultists — with no wildlife to complicate the fight, which makes it predictable but heavy. Six cultists is a serious wall of bodies, and inside the enclosed lab the four melee attackers can swarm you against the walls while the crossbows pepper you from the back line.

Loot is the familiar cultist haul: Fuel, Scrap, a Special, and Mossy Coins. There's no food or healing on the table, so the Laboratory is a pure resource-and-currency run, best slotted into a route when you're stocking up on Mossy Coins for the shop or gathering Scrap for upgrades rather than topping off survival needs.

It is worth raiding once your weapons hit a respectable tier, but the four-melee count is the catch. Fight in the doorway or a choke so the cultists can't surround you, and burn down the two Crossbow Cultists first — left alive, their ranged damage stacks fast while you're busy with the front line. With proper positioning it is a clean, reliable source of crafting materials.
