Cultist Church — In-Depth Analysis
The Cultist Church is a Dangerous Facility that trades a manageable defender count for surprisingly homely rewards. Inside you face three Melee Cultists, a single Crossbow Cultist, and a roaming Wolf, a lighter garrison than the larger cultist sites, which makes it one of the more approachable corrupted structures for a mid-game squad.
What sets the Church apart is its loot table. Rather than the usual scrap-and-fuel dump, it hands out a Chest plus a Cake, Bandages, and a Medkit — a rare concentration of healing and morale items in one building. The Cake in particular is valuable for restoring hunger fast, and the Medkit and Bandages let you patch up immediately after the fight instead of limping back to base.
It is well worth visiting if your group is bleeding supplies, but treat the lone Crossbow Cultist as the priority kill: ranged attackers chip you down while the three melee enemies pin you in the narrow interior. Clear the Wolf first if it joins the brawl, since a flanking animal can quickly turn a winnable fight into a wipe in the church's tight space.
