Air Rifle

The Air Rifle is a ranged weapon in 99 Nights in the Forest, but do not let the word "rifle" fool you, it deals a feeble 1 damage per shot. That makes it the weakest firearm in the game by a wide margin, far below the Revolver or Hunting Rifle, and effectively useless against wolves, cultists, or any serious night threat.

You obtain it from the third Carnival Game, but only if that event happens to spawn, so it is a luck-based novelty rather than something you can plan around. Because it comes from the carnival rather than a crafting bench, you cannot reliably farm it, and there is no upgrade path to make the 1-damage output meaningful.

Is it worth grabbing for survival? Honestly, no. The Air Rifle is best understood as a collector's curiosity or a joke weapon, the kind of thing you keep on a shelf for bragging rights rather than carry into a real fight. If you stumble onto one at the carnival, take it for the novelty, but never rely on it to defend your camp. Your scrap and inventory slots are far better spent on proper firearms, melee tools, and the ammo to feed them through the long nights ahead.
