Alien Outposts

Alien Outposts are structures that spawn on night 3 when the UFO event is active in 99 Nights in the Forest. The wiki shows six different outpost layouts. Most of them have a specific challenge to complete or are guarded by aliens, though some have no challenge at all, so the inhabitants vary from one outpost to another.

When you finish the challenge in an outpost, if it has one, an Alien Chest and an Alien Battery spawn. The wiki's author is not fully sure about the battery's name, so treat that label with some caution. What each Alien Chest gives depends on how many you have already opened. The first gives a Raygun, the second a Laser Fence Blueprint, the third a Laser Sword and the fourth UFO Scrap. A fifth chest is optional and gives alien armor.

The fifth chest matters for the end of the event: if you open it, you are guaranteed to get the Laser Cannon from the Big Red Chest at the end of the Alien Mothership. That means the order in which you clear outposts decides which reward you receive from each chest, so it is worth clearing all of them if you want the full set of rewards.
