Frog Cave — In-Depth Analysis
The Frog Cave is an Event-type area introduced in the Frog Invasion update, and unlike a standard loot structure it is built around a confrontation rather than a crate-sweep. Its inhabitants are the Purple Frog plus a trio of regular Frogs, so what you find here is a fight, not a shelf of supplies.
Because the row lists no fixed loot table, the value of the Frog Cave is event-driven: it exists to be cleared during the invasion rather than farmed for guaranteed materials. Treat it as a combat objective. The swirling pond imagery tells you the encounter is staged around water, which narrows your footing and makes kiting the frogs harder than fighting on open ground.
The risk profile is straightforward but real. Four frogs at once can stack damage quickly if they surround a lone player, and the Purple Frog is the priority threat among them. Go in with a melee weapon you trust, keep your back to a wall so the trio cannot flank, and only attempt it when you have the daylight and the health to spare. If your run is fragile, this is a detour you can safely skip.
