Caverns
Game Mechanic in 99 Nights in the Forest
About
Blessings and Caves redirect here. Technically the game calls it "Caves" on the Daily Quests board, but this wiki uses "Caverns" to distinguish this location from the smaller caves: :* Locked Caves (aka Child Caves) :* Frog Cave :* Polar Bear Cave :* Bat Cave (no longer in the game, essentially being replaced by these caverns) The Caverns were added in the 22 Nov 2025 update and expanded in the 17 Jan 2026 update. It is a series of caves inhabited by the Bat Entity and various Cultists. It is divided into 4 sections, and completing each section will unlock a blessing.

Caverns — In-Depth Analysis
The Caverns are one of the meatiest pieces of late-game content in 99 Nights, classed as a Game Mechanic rather than a simple structure. The game itself labels them "Caves" on the Daily Quests board, but they are a distinct, large system, separate from the smaller Locked Caves, Frog Cave and Polar Bear Cave, and they directly replaced the short-lived Bat Cave.
What makes them worth the descent is the reward structure. The Caverns are divided into four sections, and clearing each section unlocks a blessing, making this the main path to those powerful buffs. The statue imagery tied to the area, Deer, Owl, Ram and Bat, hints at the themed challenges within. Added on 22 November 2025 and expanded again in the 17 January 2026 update, this is content the developers have kept investing in.
The risk is real and matches the payoff. The Caverns are inhabited by the Bat Entity and various Cultists, so you are walking into sustained combat rather than a quick grab. Go in prepared with healing, capable weapons and ideally teammates, and work through the sections deliberately to bank all four blessings.
