Quick Summary

I've run every Race V4 trial in Blox Fruits and noted exactly where people wipe. Full walkthrough for all 8 races — Cyborg, Angel, Ghoul, Mink, Shark, Human, Sky, Fishman — with timing, routes, and what you actually unlock.

Race V4 awakenings are the biggest power spike your race will ever get, and each one is locked behind a trial that is genuinely different from the others. Some trials are clean runs — you learn the route once and you're done. Others will humble you multiple times before you clear them. I've been through all of them and I want to give you a walkthrough for each one that tells you what actually trips people up, not just the basics.

Universal requirements before any V4 trial

Before you can even queue for a trial, you need to check off three things:

  1. 1Race V3 unlocked (the Arctic puzzle in Sea 2 — do not skip this)
  2. 2Level 1,500 minimum
  3. 3The Acrius NPC interaction completed at Sea 3 — he is the gatekeeper for all V4 trials and nobody tells you about him until you're already there and confused

The trial itself runs 8–15 minutes depending on your race and opens with a 10-second prep window before it locks in. Use those 10 seconds.

Cyborg V4 trial

What you unlock: Awakened ability that disables enemy Observation Haki plus a chained damage-over-time effect. The single most decisive race ability in 2026 PvP, full stop.

Trial mechanic: Sprint through 8 island checkpoints across Sea 3 in under 4 minutes. The route goes: Cake Island, Hydra, Frozen Castle, and so on through the rest of the Sea 3 map.

Strategy:
- Pre-cooldown your V3 ability before the timer drops
- If you have Mink V3 available as a temporary swap, use it — the speed boost trivializes this run
- Practice the exact route in regular gameplay first. Seriously, do not attempt this cold.

What trips people up: Going in without knowing the route and spending 30+ seconds per checkpoint figuring out where to go next. By checkpoint 4 you are already out of time. Memorize the route before you step into the trial — it is the entire test.

Angel V4 trial

What you unlock: A healing aura that ticks for teammates within 30 tiles plus a sustained flight ability that is genuinely useful for traversal.

Trial mechanic: Survive 5 waves of high-damage NPC attacks without letting your HP drop below 50% at any point. One dip below 50% and the trial ends, no partial credit.

Strategy:
- Bring Sanguine Art for lifesteal to counteract the wave damage
- Stay mobile and kite — do not stand still and tank attacks face-first
- Stack defensive accessories like Snow Trooper and Sea Beast Horn to lower incoming damage numbers

What trips people up: Trying to burst kill the waves to skip the pain. The trial has a fixed length — you cannot rush it. Pivot entirely to survival mindset. DPS does not matter here, staying above that 50% threshold does.

Ghoul V4 trial

What you unlock: Heals on M1 hits plus stacking damage as your HP drops. The high-risk high-reward PvP race.

Trial mechanic: Defeat 3 mini-bosses in sequence with stacking modifiers — each boss gets +25% HP and +20% damage over the previous one. Total time limit is 6 minutes across all three.

Strategy:
- Bring an awakened fruit for burst output — Buddha and Dragon both work well here
- Use Death Step for combo flexibility; Sanguine is not fast enough to clear all three bosses within the time cap
- Save your Conqueror for boss 3, the one that will actually put up a fight

What trips people up: Spending too long on boss 1. If you are still fighting boss 1 past the 90-second mark, restart the trial right there. That pace does not leave enough time for the other two. I learned this by running out of time on boss 3 with it at half health — frustrating in a way I cannot fully describe.

Mink V4 trial

What you unlock: Highest base movement speed in the game plus an electric pulse damage effect that procs while you are running.

Trial mechanic: Pure speed run — sprint through 6 checkpoints on Cake Island in under 75 seconds. No combat, no bosses, just movement.

Strategy:
- Activate Mink V3 at the start line (the active ability gives a burst speed bonus)
- Do not touch a sword or fruit during the run — only running speed counts toward the trial timer
- Practice the route at least 5 times in regular gameplay before attempting

What trips people up: Stopping to fight mobs along the route. The entire route is designed to be cleared without engaging anything. Run past everything. Any time you spend in combat is time you do not have.

Shark V4 trial

What you unlock: Underwater damage boost plus an amphibious dash attack you can use both above and below the surface.

Trial mechanic: Defeat the Tide Keeper boss underwater without getting hit by any of his three signature projectile attacks. One hit fails the trial — there is no HP buffer for this one.

Strategy:
- Use Observation aggressively; the projectile patterns are predictable once you have seen them a couple of times
- Stay on water tiles as much as possible for better movement options
- Bring high-burst weapons like TTK and Godhuman setup to end the fight quickly before RNG has time to catch you

What trips people up: Drifting onto land tiles and fighting from the surface. The trial is designed around underwater play. Projectiles are slower and easier to read from underwater — fighting on land actually makes this harder, not easier.

Human V4 trial

What you unlock: All for One — a lifesteal-stun combo with real sustain that makes Human viable in extended fights for the first time.

Trial mechanic: Defeat 50 NPCs while maintaining exactly a 70% M1 hit ratio throughout the fight. The trial is tracking your hit distribution the entire time.

Strategy:
- Use Sword plus Black Leg for natural M1 distribution
- Do not burst with skill finishers — every skill cast risks tilting the M1 ratio below the threshold
- Keep a running mental count; the trial gives you no progress bar during the fight

What trips people up: Spamming fruit skills out of muscle memory. The trial fails silently if your skill cast rate is too high — you finish the 50 NPCs and then get a failure screen with no explanation. Know this going in.

Sky V4 trial

What you unlock: Sustained gliding you can maintain indefinitely plus airborne damage scaling that rewards staying off the ground.

Trial mechanic: Stay completely airborne for 4 consecutive minutes while landing 20+ hits per minute on flying targets.

Strategy:
- Use Sky V3 active for initial lift, then immediately chain into a fruit with airborne uptime — Light and Dragon both work well
- Keep engaging flying NPCs non-stop; dropping below 20 hits per minute is the quiet fail state nobody warns you about
- Practice the transition from V3 lift into fruit-sustained flight before attempting the trial

What trips people up: Dipping to the ground briefly to dodge an attack. The trial ends if you touch the ground for more than 1 second. There is no grace period. This is the most punishing mechanic in any of the V4 trials.

Fishman V4 trial

What you unlock: Wave Crash, a wide AoE underwater damage ability, plus enhanced movement speed on water tiles.

Trial mechanic: Clear 8 underwater waves of NPCs while staying within Sea 2's submerged zones. Time limit is 5 minutes.

Strategy:
- Bring Buddha awakened for AoE underwater — it is the best tool for this by a wide margin
- Use Fishman V3 throughout to maintain underwater speed
- Position yourself centrally — the submerged tile layout funnels mobs into a tight area that you can hit with one Buddha pulse

What trips people up: Surfacing to breathe out of habit. Fishman lets you stay submerged indefinitely — surfacing wastes the speed bonus and costs you time on the clock. Stay under.

V4 priority if you are new to endgame

If you can only run one trial right now, make it Cyborg V4. It has the highest impact in 2026 PvP, and the trial itself is the most learnable — it is a memorizable route rather than a combat mechanic that can go wrong in unpredictable ways.

That said, even if you are stuck with a B-tier race like Human or Sky and do not want to spend Robux rerolling, do the trial anyway. Even the weaker V4 awakenings outperform their V3 versions by 30–40%. You will feel the difference immediately.

What to do after V4

V4 is the final piece of your race progression. Once you have it, combine it with an awakened fruit, maxed sword stat, and either Godhuman or Sanguine fighting style and you are ready for Sea 3 endgame content — bounty hunts, the Soul Reaper boss, and pushing the level cap.
