Sea 1 (the Old World) is where every Blox Fruits character starts. It spans 12 islands, 50+ quest NPCs, and 8 hidden areas with secret chests and unique drops. This walkthrough covers each location in geographic order so you can clear Sea 1 systematically from level 1 to 425.

The Old World is divided into clusters:

Pirate Starter Island (Levels 1-15)
NPCs: Pirate Trainer (level 1 quests), Bartender (cosmetic NPC)
Quests: Defeat 5 Bandits → Defeat 5 Monkeys → Defeat the Mob Leader (mini-boss)
Drops: Pirate Hat (3% from Mob Leader)
Hidden: Behind the bar, a chest with 5,000 Beli respawns every 12 minutes
Middle Town (Levels 15-35)
NPCs: Black Beard (level 15 quest giver), Sword Dealer (sells Cutlass, Saber)
Quests: Defeat 8 Brutes → Defeat 10 Mobster → Defeat the Boss
Drops: Cutlass (NPC purchase), Mobster Hat (5% drop)
Hidden: Climb the bell tower for a chest with 12,000 Beli
Jungle Island (Levels 30-60)
NPCs: Jungle Trainer, Gorilla King (level 20 boss)
Quests: Defeat 12 Pirates → Defeat 15 Brutes → Boss raid
Drops: Gorilla Crown (cosmetic), Coat
Hidden: Behind the waterfall, a chest with rare cosmetic
Pirate Village (Levels 35-70)
NPCs: Pirate Captain, Black Leg trainer (free fighting style at level 75)
Quests: 8 Pirate quests + boss
Drops: Black Leg fighting style (free unlock at level 75 — non-negotiable for early game)
Hidden: Behind the dock, a hidden cave with 25,000 Beli chest
Desert Island (Levels 60-100)
NPCs: Desert Trainer, Sand Trainer (sells Sand fruit)
Quests: 10 Bandit quests → boss raid
Drops: Desert Hat, Sand Fruit (low drop chance from boss)
Hidden: Climb the pyramid for a chest with 50,000 Beli
Snow Mountain (Levels 90-130)
NPCs: Yeti (level 105 boss)
Quests: Defeat 15 Snow Soldiers → 20 Snowmen → Yeti
Drops: Snow Trooper accessory (defense buff), Snow Hat
Hidden: Cave entrance at the summit — chest with rare fruit
Marine Fortress (Levels 75-150)
NPCs: Marine NPCs (best xp/min in Sea 1 mid-game), Vice Admiral (level 130 boss)
Quests: 20 Marine quests + Vice Admiral raid
Drops: Magic Hat (5% damage accessory)
Hidden: Top floor — chest with 35,000 Beli respawns every 25 min
Magma Village (Levels 200-250)
NPCs: Magma Trainer, Magma Admiral (level 200 boss with 15% Magma fruit drop)
Quests: 25 Lava Soldier quests + Magma Admiral
Drops: Magma Fruit (15%), Magma Coat
Hidden: Volcano interior — chest with 65,000 Beli + rare Beli boost cosmetic
Underwater City (Levels 300-400)
NPCs: Hidden Trainer (only spawns underwater), high-xp NPCs
Quests: Underwater chain (3 quests) → Hidden Boss
Drops: Underwater Cosmetic, Hidden Trainer rewards (200K+ Beli)
Hidden: This entire location is hidden — accessible only with Race V2 (Mink/Sky) or fast fruit
Skylands (Levels 280-400)
NPCs: Sky Trainer
Quests: Sky Patrol quests (5 levels)
Drops: Sky Hat
Hidden: Behind the highest cloud — chest with rare cosmetic
Sea 2 Portal (Marine Fortress Dock, Level 425)
The portal to Sea 2. Activated by:
1. Reaching level 425
2. Defeating Saber Expert (optional)
3. Speaking to Pirate Captain at the dock
The portal sends you to Kingdom of Rose, the first island of the Second Sea.
Hidden chests and respawn timers
Sea 1 has 12+ hidden chests. The valuable ones:

Boss farming priority
Sea 1 bosses worth re-farming:
1. Magma Admiral — Magma fruit (15% drop) is the highest-value Sea 1 reward
2. Yeti — Snow Trooper accessory is keeper for defense builds
3. Vice Admiral — Magic Hat is 5% damage, useful in early Sea 2
Skip Gorilla King and Mob Leader after first kill — drops are cosmetic only.
NPC quest priority by level
For optimal xp/hour:
- Level 1-30: Pirate Starter Island
- Level 30-75: Middle Town
- Level 75-150: Marine Fortress
- Level 150-250: Magma Village
- Level 250-400: Underwater City (best xp in Sea 1)
