Bob

Bob does absolutely nothing, and that is his entire character. Also called Bob Skellyfriend, he is a human skeleton who sits on the table next to El Goblino in front of the Jeff Shop. In The Hotel he wears a dark gray baseball cap and is surrounded by flies; in The Mines he has a metal miner's cap with a headlight. He was added on January 28, 2023.

What happens when you interact

He never moves and never speaks. The prompt asks you to hold the interact button for several seconds, and the result is the text "...Nothing happens." That is why the entry lists no survival tips: he is a harmless prop. In RETRO MODE he cannot be interacted with at all.

The one exception

In SUPER HARD MODE!!! Bob has a 1 in 100 chance to jumpscare and kill the player who interacts with him, and the death screen then calls him SKELETON BOB. This secret came from the 2023 April Fools Event. In normal modes his damage is 0. The Haunt update gave him a jack-o-lantern head and moved him to a chair in the lobby.

Why he matters

El Goblino talks about Bob constantly, calling him a friend and hinting at a past with Rush, a Snare, the Eyes and a Giggle, so he works as small world-building. In the game files he is labeled only "Skellyfriend".
