Blobfish guide

If you want a fish that sells well without needing a special time or weather, Blobfish is a decent candidate. It is Exotic, lives in The Ocean, takes Shrimp as bait, and the wiki lists Any for time of day, weather and season, so there is no calendar to watch.

An average Blobfish weighs 4.9 kg and sells at C$2.5 per kg, which works out to an average of C$12,250. That ranks 111th of the 742 documented fish, so it sits comfortably in the upper part of the table, well above the commons that fetch a few dozen coins.

The same zone and rarity also give you Blue Whale and Orca. Those share the Exotic tier with Blobfish and appear in the same waters, so a session in The Ocean with Shrimp can bring any of them up.

Verdict: this is a steady earner rather than a jackpot. Because nothing about the weather or the clock limits it, you can fish for it whenever you are already in The Ocean. Sell it when you need C$, and keep Shrimp stocked, since the bait is the only requirement the wiki records.
