Festive Bait Crate

“A festive wooden crate with patterend fabric over top to preserve the bait inside. Seems like it fell off of santa's sleigh! Opening it might give you an array of jolly baits!”— in-game Bestiary description

Festive Bait Crate guide

The Festive Bait Crate is a Limited item from Winter Village, and today it cannot be obtained. When it was available it was caught with Magnet bait, and the crate itself is a holiday container rather than a living fish, which explains the modest numbers: an average weight of 8 kg at C$62.5 per kg, for an average sale price of C$500 and 300 base XP.

That price puts it at 390 out of 742 documented fish by average value, right in the middle of the table. Nothing about the stats would have made it a priority catch on value alone; its appeal was being part of the Winter Village set.

The same zone and rarity group includes Basic Present, Candy Cane Carp, Cookie, Glass of Milk, Icicle and Ornament Fish, and the Candy Cane Rod is the rod sold in that area. If you collect Limited items, treat this page as a record of what the crate was worth. If you are trying to earn money, there is nothing to chase here, because the crate is gone and a mid-table sale price would not justify a hunt anyway.
