DJ Spinopus guide

DJ Spinopus is a Mythical octopus with glowing tentacles that pulse to a rhythm nobody else hears. Fish for it in The Depths at night, in clear weather, during Summer or Spring, using Snare as bait. It is huge: from 3,000 kg up to 25,200 kg, averaging 7,500 kg.

The price per kilo is only C$1, so weight does all the work, and a typical catch sells for C$7,500, 143rd of 742 documented fish by value. The 25,200 kg ceiling is 73rd of 663 by weight, a very heavy fish. Base XP is 2,200.

Barreleye Fish, Mutated Shark and Sea Snake are the other Mythical catches documented in The Depths, so this zone can fill several top-tier slots. Rod Of The Depths and Onirifalx are the rods sold there. If you only have time for a single night, check the Spring or Summer requirement first: a clear sky and the right season are what turn Snare into a Spinopus.
