Ornament Fish

Ornament Fish was a Limited item from Winter Village that the wiki now lists as Unobtainable and Removed, so there is no way to catch it today. In its day it needed Holly Berry bait and the Autumn season, with no weather or time restriction listed. The in-game description calls it a decorative ornament shaped like a fish that seems to show signs of low intelligence.

Everything about it is light. It averaged 0.5 kg, with a range from 0.3 to 2 kg, ranking 601st of 663 fish by maximum weight. At C$200 per kg, an average specimen sold for C$200, which is 486th of the 742 documented fish, so it sat in the lower third for value.

It shared Winter Village with other Limited entries: Basic Present, Candy Cane Carp, Cookie, Festive Bait Crate, Glass of Milk and Icicle. The area also sold Candy Cane Rod, which is the only rod tied to that zone.

Verdict: this is a keepsake and nothing more. A C$200 return makes it easy to sell, but since the item cannot be replaced, a player who still owns one might prefer to keep it as proof of a past winter event. If you never had one, there is nothing to chase, so spend your time elsewhere.
