Frostjaw Cod guide

Frostjaw Cod is a Northern Expedition fish with a longer list of conditions than most. It is a Legendary catch that needs Fish Head bait, Night and Winter, and it is obtainable now.

Its stats are solid: 31 to 211.6 kg, averaging 85 kg, 240th of 663 by maximum weight. At C$20 per kg it sells for C$1,300 on average, 298th of 742 documented fish by value, with 800 base XP.

Frigid Antlers is the only other Legendary in the zone, and the rods sold in Northern Expedition are Arctic Rod and Crystalized Rod. That makes the area easy to plan: one bait, one season, and a short list of targets.

Is it worth the extra night requirement? If you already fish Northern Expedition in winter, yes: Fish Head is the only bait you need and C$1,300 per catch is a good return.
