Frigid Mammoth Tusk guide

If you fish Northern Expedition in Winter with Weird Algae on the hook, Frigid Mammoth Tusk is the kind of Mythical result worth the wait. It is listed with an average weight of 400 kg and a modest C$6 per kg, which still adds up to an average sale of C$2,400.

That value ranks 245 of the 742 documented fish, and every catch also brings 1,200 base XP. The low per-kg rate means the weight does all the work here, so this is a fish you sell for its bulk, not for a premium price.

Four other Mythical fish are documented in the same zone: Frozen Walnut, Glacial Sturgeon, Green Energy Crystal and Icebeard Shark. Because they share the waters, you may end up reeling in any of them while chasing the tusk, so decide ahead of time what you will keep. The zone sells Arctic Rod and Crystalized Rod, so you can buy a suitable rod on site. A fair verdict: worth targeting during Winter sessions, and worth selling rather than hoarding unless you are completing a collection.
