Golden Smallmouth Bass guide

Golden Smallmouth Bass is a Legendary that does not behave like one. It lives on Terrapin Island, takes Flakes during the day in Foggy weather during Autumn, and weighs only 1.6 kg to 4.5 kg, averaging 2.5 kg.

At C$156 per kg, an average catch sells for C$625, ranking 373rd of the 742 documented fish by value. By maximum weight it is 550th of 663, and base XP is 250. Those numbers sit in the lower half of the documented fish despite the Legendary label.

Olm is the only other Legendary documented in the zone. Terrapin Island sells the Magnet Rod and the Wildflower Rod, which are the rods to bring.

Verdict: interesting for collection and for the rarity, but not a money run. The Foggy plus Autumn plus daytime combination is a lot of conditions for C$625. If you are already fishing Terrapin Island and Flakes are in your bag, keep it when it comes. If you want Legendary-tier payouts, look at the heavier fish elsewhere in the list.
