Walleye guide

Walleye is the other Uncommon catch on Terrapin Island, sharing the zone with White Bass. It takes Minnow and shows up in Spring and Autumn, with no weather or time of day listed. That makes it easy to meet while you fish the island for other things.

It averages 2.7 kg and tops out at 3.6 kg, and at C$22 per kg an average catch sells for C$59.4. By value it ranks 644th of 742 documented fish, and by maximum weight 565th of 663, so it sits near the bottom on both counts.

The more useful figure is the base XP of 90. For a fish worth less than C$60, that is a generous amount of experience, and it is the reason to keep fishing it while you are still climbing early levels.

Rods sold on the island are the Magnet Rod and the Wildflower Rod, both within reach of anyone already here.

Verdict: sell it for pocket change, but do not release it thinking it is junk. At this stage of the game, the 90 XP per catch is the real reward, and the two seasons it covers are easy to plan around.
