Olm

“The Olm is an aquatic salamander which is an exclusively cave-dwelling species. The olm is mostly found in dark and moist areas of freshwater. They are most notable for their adaptations to a life of darkness within their caves. The Olm has severely underdeveloped eyes, leaving it blind. This blindness gives them an acute sense of smell and hearing.”— in-game Bestiary description

Olm guide

Olm is a Legendary fish from Terrapin Island with a very small body and a surprisingly strong price tag. It bites with Flakes bait at Night, in Clear or Foggy weather, in any season. The wiki describes a blind, cave-dwelling salamander that relies on smell and hearing.

Weight is irrelevant here: it averages 0.4 kg and tops out at 1.5 kg, ranking 615th of 663 fish. Value is another story. At C$2,250 per kg, an average catch pays C$675, 366th of 742 documented fish, and it gives 500 base XP. So it sits in the middle of the table for money despite being among the lightest fish listed.

Its only rarity neighbor in the zone is Golden Smallmouth Bass. Terrapin Island also sells Magnet Rod and Wildflower Rod, a short shelf that makes gear choices simple.

Verdict: a decent, low-effort catch for anyone already on Terrapin Island at night with Flakes. It will not carry your income, but the weather window is wide (two conditions are accepted) and no season restriction applies, so you can fit it into a normal session. Do not expect the weight to impress anyone; its appeal is that a fish this tiny still falls above the median for value.
