Redeye Bass guide

Distinct red or orange eyes on a greenish brown body are what separate the Redeye Bass from the Largemouth Bass it resembles, according to the description. It is an Unusual fish of Terrapin Island, takes Flakes as bait, bites by day in Windy weather, and appears in Spring and Autumn.

The weights are small: 0.9 kg on average and 1.5 kg at most. At C$76 per kg an average fish sells for about C$68, plus 100 base XP. It ranks 631st of the 742 documented fish by average value, and 615th of 663 by maximum weight, which places it close to the bottom in both lists.

Chinook Salmon is the other Unusual fish documented in the zone. Two rods are on sale there, Magnet Rod and Wildflower Rod.

Windy weather is the restriction that matters most. You can have the bait, the daylight and the right season and still wait, so this is not a fish to hunt on a schedule. Pick it up when the wind happens to be blowing in Terrapin Island. The money is modest, but 100 XP for something so small is acceptable. My suggestion is to sell it, buy better equipment with the proceeds, and move on to fish with a higher ceiling.
