Eldritch Spineback guide

Eldritch Spineback came from Cults Curse, where it was a Limited catch that accepted any bait, any time of day, any weather and any season. It cannot be obtained today.

When it was available, it was a heavy fish: 60 kg at minimum, 120 kg on average and up to 420 kg, 197th of 663 by maximum weight. At C$13.89 per kg it sold for about C$1,735 on average and gave 900 base XP. That sits 271st of 742 documented fish by value, a solid placement for a fish with no special requirements.

The absence of conditions is what made it easy to land compared with other Limited fish, which usually demand specific weather or bait. Cults Curse also lists Abyssal Maw, Bloodscript Eel, Hollow Gazer, Profane Ray, The Whispering One and Veilborn Parasite at the same rarity, so the zone was crowded with event fish.

For collectors, this page is a record of a fish that is no longer in the game. For anyone looking for income, the Spineback offers no current route, so use its numbers only to judge how later Limited fish compare.
