White Perch guide

White Perch is a Common freshwater fish found in Mushgrove Swamp, and the wiki notes it lacks the stripes of the classic Perch. You can catch it with Worm during Spring or Autumn, which makes it one of the easier entries to line up in that zone.

It is small: 0.3 kg to 1.6 kg, averaging 1.3 kg. The interesting part is the rate. At C$250 per kg, an average catch sells for C$320, ranking 442nd of the 742 documented fish by average value. That is a decent figure for something Common, even if the max weight ranks only 612th of 663. Base XP is 80.

In the same zone, Hogchoker and Swamp Bass share its Common rarity, so a Worm-baited session will often mix them. If you need a rod for the swamp, the Frog Rod and the Fungal Rod are both sold in its zone. My advice: sell it freely, since it is a cheap bait-and-sell filler, but do not expect it to move your balance. It is a good fish for early money and not worth planning a trip around.
