Toxinburst Rod is another crafted rod from the Ancient Archives, but with a cost on top of the materials: Crafting Ingredients plus C$185,000, and a level requirement. It has a passive, a Disturbance of 0, a Progress Speed of 30 and a hunt focus on Rotbloom (+2).

The weight limit is where it shines. 125,000 kg ranks 29th of 117, so it can handle the biggest fish in its range. Lure Speed of 83 ranks 69th of 184. Elsewhere it is ordinary or worse: 85 Luck ranks 121st, Control of -0.02 ranks 165th of 185, and Resilience of 30 ranks 51st.

The picture is a rod for heavy catches and fast reeling, not for rarity. Progress Speed of 30 makes the minigame fill quickly, which partly offsets the slippery Control, so it suits players who want to land big fish and move on.

You can compare it on the spot with the other Ancient Archives rods: Anchor n' Chain, Elder Mossripper, Dead Man's Rod, Cupid's Embrace and Lucid Rod. Choose Toxinburst Rod if you target Rotbloom or heavy fish. If you want rare fish, it will not give you the Luck.
