Frostbane Rod review
The Frostbane Rod is priced at C$1,500,000 and is sold in the Frigid Cavern of the Northern Expedition during a Snowstorm Event. Its description calls it an unwieldy blade laced with frost magic, with a dormant power that wakes as the cold deepens. It has no listed passive.
That dormant power is not reflected in the base stats, which look underwhelming for the price. 85 Luck ranks 121st of 184 obtainable rods, while 80 Lure Speed is 71st, a better showing. Control of 0.05 is 112th of 185, 35 Resilience is 41st of 184, and its 1,500 kg cap is 89th of 117.
Cheaper rods beat its Luck: Abyssal Specter Rod (90 Luck, C$850,000), Champions Rod (130 Luck, C$90,000) and Challenger's Rod (190 Luck, C$750,000). You are paying a premium for the event and the theme.
Buy it only if you specifically want the frost-blade look and can reach the Snowstorm Event. For raw progress, spend the C$1,500,000 on Challenger's Rod or similar and you get more than double the Luck. This is a collector's rod, and the stats make that clear.
