Wicked Fang Rod review
Crimson Cavern asks for two things for the Wicked Fang Rod: C$400,000 and Level 300. That is a steep entry, and the description sells it as forged in malice, with fangs that bite slow but deep.
The stats back up a speed-oriented rod more than a luck one. Lure Speed 95 is 37th of 184 obtainable rods, a solid upper-quarter rank. Luck 140 is 83rd of 184, Control 0 is 141st of 185, and Resilience 15 is 105th. It has a passive, but no weight limit is listed.
The Luck comparison is where the price hurts. Cinder Block Rod (Luck 300, C$50,000), Destiny Rod (Luck 250, C$190,000) and Cupid's Embrace (Luck 214, C$15,000) all beat its Luck at lower cost. The Cinder Block Rod gives more than double the Luck for an eighth of the price.
Crimson Cavern also sells Evil Pitchfork, Scarlet Spincaster Rod and Ruinous Oath, if you want to compare in person.
Verdict: buy it only if you are already past Level 300 and want its fast Lure Speed and passive. For raw Luck, there are better deals.
