Thundelbringer

The Thundelbringer is a Prismatic-tier gear added during the Smithing Event, sitting at the very top of the lightning-themed lineage that begins with the humble Lightning Rod. It exists to channel storm energy across your crops, seeding the rare shocked and storm-class mutations that ordinary gear cannot produce, and as a Prismatic item it is one of the most prestigious tools you can own.

The recipe is brutal. You need a Smith Hammer of Harvest, a Lightning Rod, a Legendary Coal, a Divine Coal, and 40,000,000 Sheckles — a stack of event-gated crafting materials layered on top of an eight-figure cash cost. This is unmistakably an endgame trophy build, not something an active mid-game farm should be saving toward while there are cheaper, more impactful upgrades available.

Only commit to the Thundelbringer when the Smithing materials are already in hand and 40M Sheckles is pocket change for your operation. At that point its lightning mutations on premium, fully grown crops can produce genuinely top-tier harvest values, and the Prismatic status carries trade and prestige weight of its own. Before then, it is a long-term goal rather than a practical purchase for everyday farming output.
