Heather

Heather is the exchange NPC introduced for the Valentine's Event, and she functions as the event's dedicated currency sink. Her role is narrow but important: she accepts crops carrying one of three love-themed mutations and converts them into Heart Coins, the event-only currency you spend on a milestone reward track. Understanding her is really about understanding mutation farming.

The key mechanic is that Heather only values crops with the Heartstruck, Cute, or Heartbound mutations. That makes the Valentine's Event a mutation hunt rather than a raw-yield grind: it doesn't matter how many plain crops you stockpile, only how many carry an accepted mutation. The optimal loop is therefore to maximize mutation procs first, harvest aggressively during the event window, and route every qualifying crop through Heather to climb the Heart Coin milestones before they expire.

Because she is event-bound, Heather is unavailable outside Valentine's, so progress on her milestone list is strictly time-limited. Treat her like the Wise Old Owl or Onett of her season: a conversion gate that rewards players who pre-stack mutation boosters and harvest in bulk while the event is live, rather than trickling crops in casually.
