Zen Event

The Zen Event ran from July 19 to August 2, 2025 as part of Update 1.15.0, and its real value lies in the Tranquil mutation pipeline it created. The Zen Aura weather triggers every hour and lasts 10 minutes, and during that window one crop receives the Tranquil mutation every 30 seconds. That cadence means a full cycle stamps the mutation onto roughly 20 crops per 10-minute window, so the event rewards players who pre-plant a dense, high-value plot and simply stand by to let the timer do the work rather than actively farming elsewhere.

Update 1.16.0 layered in the Corrupted Cycle, which has a 1/3 (33.3%) chance to replace the standard Zen Aura, applying a Corrupt variant instead. Because you cannot force which version spawns, the optimal play is to keep your most valuable beds planted at all times so neither variant is wasted.

The economy hook is steep: the Spray Merchant only has a 10% chance to spawn and stays 30 minutes, selling Wet, Windstruck and Verdant Mutation Sprays at 50,000,000 Sheckles each. Save Sheckles ahead of the event so you can buy a spray on sight. This was also the debut of the first Prismatic Pets, the Kitsune and Corrupted Kitsune, making it a landmark progression event.
