Zen Channeller

The Zen Channeller (formerly nicknamed "Unk the Monk") is the quest NPC stationed on the Zen Platform during the Zen Event, added July 19, 2025. Unlike the Tanuki vendor that handled Chi, the Channeller's job is progression: interacting with him opens the Quest UI and lets you grow the communal Zen Tree by feeding it plants.

Mechanically he is the tree's growth engine. You hand over Tranquil plants, and each acceptable submission fills the Zen scale that advances the tree through its stages. A Take all my Tranquil plants dialogue option batches your whole qualifying inventory at once, so you are not feeding one crop at a time. A key detail: once the tree reaches Stage 7, you no longer need to submit Tranquil plants to progress, though the game still lets you donate them.

To use him optimally, treat Tranquil output as the bottleneck and front-load donations early, when each plant still meaningfully moves the scale toward higher stages and the rewards they unlock. Pair your farm setup to maximize Tranquil-mutated harvests, then batch-submit through the "take all" option to save time. After Stage 7 there is no reason to keep funneling Tranquil crops to him, so redirect that production toward the Tanuki's Chi conversion instead.
