First Aid — In-Depth Analysis
The First Aid badge unlocks the moment you revive a downed teammate for the very first time using either a Bandage or a Medkit. At 1 star with a 2-diamond reward, it is one of the gentlest badges in the game, but it does require teamwork, so solo players will need a friend to cooperate with.
The mechanic is simple: when a player dies they leave a revivable body for a limited window. Walk up to that body with a Bandage or Medkit in hand and hold the interact prompt to bring them back. The catch is the timing and the danger — bodies often drop mid-fight, so you frequently have to clear or distract enemies before you can safely stand still and channel the revive.
The smart approach is to always carry at least one Bandage on expeditions; they are cheap and stockpile easily from chests. If you are farming this with friends, simply have one player intentionally go down somewhere safe near camp and revive them. Keeping healing items on hand pays off all game long, and the 2 diamonds are a nice bonus for a habit you should have anyway.
