Atlantean Guardian guide

Atlantean Guardian is an Unusual fish that patrols Atlantis and Sunken Depths Pool. It carries no timing restrictions: Time of day, Weather and Season are all listed as Any, so the only requirement is Fish Head on the hook.

It is small, 4 kg to 8.6 kg with a 6 kg average, and its max weight ranks 478th of 663. At C$31.25 per kg it averages C$187.50, 499th of the 742 documented fish, which is the middle of the pack. It also gives 150 base XP, about the same as a lot of fish with higher prices.

Tentacle Eel is the other Unusual fish in the same zone, so the two can be fished together. Atlantis also sells Abyssal Specter Rod, Champions Rod, Depthseeker Rod and Tempest Rod, so you can match your rod to the trip.

Verdict: an easy, low-risk catch. With no clock or weather to wait for, you can fish it any time you pass through Atlantis. Do it for steady XP and small cash, not as the reason to go.
