Golden Seahorse guide

Do not let the 0.7 kg average weight fool you: Golden Seahorse is a Mythical fish with a price per kg of C$3,625, enough for an average catch to sell for about C$2,538. That is 241st of the 742 documented fish by value, even though its maximum weight (1.7 kg) ranks only 607th of 663.

It lives in Forsaken Shores and takes Weird Algae during the day in Summer. Weights run from 0.3 kg to 1.7 kg. Base XP is 2,800, a lot for so small a fish.

Captain's Goldfish is the only other Mythical documented in the zone, and the rods sold there are the Great Rod Of Oscar and the Scurvy Rod.

Verdict: a good fish for Forsaken Shores. Both its sale and its XP justify keeping Weird Algae in your bag, and the Summer, daytime window is a manageable constraint compared with the narrower conditions on other Mythicals. Since its value comes from price rather than size, a small catch is fine: you are not missing a bigger version of the same fish.
